Nicole “Dr. Nic” Rankine, PhD is a certified international empowerment speaker, teacher, and coach with the John Maxwell Team. She provides personal growth and leadership development to women and our next generation through training, workshop, speaking, and coaching. She also provides leadership assessments for organizations and other entities. Through the study and practical application of John Maxwell’s proven leadership methods, Dr. Nic uses her experience and passion to equip, inspire and empower women, youth, and Millennials to maximize their effectiveness in today’s challenging world.
With over 20 years of professional experience in helping people, Dr. Nic has worked in academia and government agencies as a Health Scientist, she has traveled nationally and internationally to devote over 15 years of her time to youth development and youth ministries and she also serves as an Adjunct College Professor teaching our future public health professionals. She holds a Bachelors and Masters of Science Degree in Biology, from the University of Georgia and Georgia State, respectively, and has a Masters and Ph.D. in Public Health from Walden University.
Dr. Nic is a devoted leader and has held several leadership positions in her profession, service organizations, and in her community. Not only is Dr. Nic the founder/CEO of the COLE Academy of Personal Growth which serves women leaders, she also is the founder of Healthy Young People Excel, Inc., a nonprofit devoted to helping youth worldwide develop their soft skills so they can shift their behaviors and attitudes to increase their self-esteem so they may see, own, and achieve their dreams.
Dr. Nic is a devoted leader and with a passion for personal growth, leadership development and health education. When she does not have on her professional hat on, Dr. Nic actively serves her community though local, national and international missions. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and to help relieve the stresses of life, she loves to dance, exercise, and spend time with her family and friends.
